OK, so I have gone back and forth over 6 years with BeardBrand. There have been ups and downs for sure. The old formulas, the new improved formulas and the newer and improved formulas over those. I have been using another brand of oil, butter and cologne for a year now and decided to try BeardBrand one more time.

I went with Norse Winter and an old fave, Old Money along with two extra colognes, Desert Road and Fox Hunt. I did not get Fox Hunt yet as it was a new order but I do want to say that I feel Beardbrand is back and better than ever.

I have tried 32 beard oil companies over six years. Why? Well, because I wanted to see which were hype. which were the real deal and which had the best scents. Tried them ALL and almost all small batch pricey brands.

No beard company has cologne that lasts like a real cologne. Even one guy who charges over $100 a bottle for his luxurious colognes...lasted 10 minutes.

First let me state that Old Money now smells like Old Money again. The last time I purchased it in the 4 oz bottle it smelled like cooking oil. Another batch smelled rotten. Today's batch smells just like I remember this scent smelling 6 years ago. Rich, complex, bright and yet manly and sophisticated THIS is their best scent IMO.

The Old Money cologne is also nice and projects, lasts for hours just as I had hoped for. I am happy once again with BB and also nice to see the smaller sized on offer.

Norse Winter...I was part of the voting that helped launch it via the alliance. While I rarely stop in. I did order the four pack and my fave was Norse. Now that its perm I bought ,ore oil and cologne. Now the balm and hope for wash and conditioner.

I love the Norse scent though it is reminiscent of Temple Smoke in some ways. It's not as rich or complex as Old Money nor does it have projection or lasting power. The Cologne lasts 30-45 min.

With this said, the oil quality is now spot on and right. Makes my beard soft with a very light shine. It feels great in beard and better than some of the higher priced boutique brands out there.

Scents will always be personal.

One thing I do not care for is all of the cologne scents are being released without any oil or balm. Why would I want to wear my Old Money with say Desert Road cologne? BB used to be about not falling into "scent confusion" and now they seem to promote that.

Anyway, tried most of the BB scents. My faves and least faves...

Bold Fortune is my least fave. Never understood the hype here. Smells artificial and make my skin break out in a bad rash, tore it up. The wash made my bald head beet red and with a burn sensation. My least fave.

Tree Ranger is nice out of the gate but fades within 10-15 minutes. May as well be scentless as it doesn't last at all. My next least fave.

Temple Smoke used to be amazing but with the new scent formula 1-2 years ago it is not as good or lasting or rich. I still like it but will not buy it again.

Norse Winter - I like this one alot and while it doesn't last long, when it is there it's nice and smoky. Great for cooler days and will be a mainstay for me. Superb scent.

Old Money - My fave as t was 6 years ago. It is unique and unlike any other scent on the market from anyone. It lasts. projects and doesn't give me a rash. For some, it may seem too stout but give it 3-4 days and you will not notice like the first few days. Our nose gets used to it.

The only time I have received compliments was while wearing Old Money and it happened more than once. The others, no one can smell them on me.

As for all of the Colognes, they are indeed overpriced for the amount you get and lasting power. Old Monet is worth it. Norse, not so much as the scent fades quickly for the cost./ Also, small amounts and more is needed to apply than most. Even so, there are many scents to choose from like the new Four Vices, Black Sails, Short Game and others.

Me, I would prefer that BB only offers cologne for the beard oil scents that they offer. Make one for Pearl Snap....and then I would buy the oil, balm and cologne.

Also one last thing...seems like many times quite a few products are out of stock. This time it's the wash and softener...never have my scent in when I check.

Overall I feel BeardBrand is on the right track as the quality is back, size offerings are nice and the new Cologne is awesome, especially OM scent. ; )

Just ordered Fox Hunt and some balm. As soon as the wash and softener show up in either Norse or Temple Smoke (in wash and soft) I will buy a set.

Keep it up BB and now that you have cologne in Desert Road and Ghost Tracer and Fox Hunt you should release them again in oil as by itself the oil is very light on scent..with the cologne..much better. Cologne without oil means I need a different scent for the face. Just feedback but I do love my last two orders and arm very happy!

Norse Winter Beard Oil & Cologne Bundle

I like the scent, but it needs to have a stronger and lasting aroma, and the same with your cologne. I think more men would order it!

Old Money Beard Oil

I bought this product for the first time 8 years ago and loved it!

There’s been a few years I haven’t been able to get shipped to the UK, not anymore!

I ordered some more recently and it’s just as good as I remember. Similar to tasting some home made food for the first time in a long time….Beard Brand get it right every time.

Love the fact UK shipping exists now (not sure how long gets been a thing). Hands down, by far the best Beard Products I’ve ever used (I’ve tried heaps in the 8 years hiatus…).

I’ll 100% be getting more!
